Seven pillars, zero shortcuts.
Every exporter on Clyro is verified against the same documented standard before they appear in the directory. The audit trail is the product.
The output is documentation your compliance team can sign off on — a dated, signed audit trail your procurement file can include.

The standard
What every exporter goes through.
No partial passes. No "verified-pending." An exporter either clears all seven pillars and appears in the directory, or they do not.
- 01
Legal identity
Commercial registration, export license, tax card, and origin-country export-authority registration — all current and verified against government registries before listing.
Commercial registrationExport licenseTax cardCAPQ / origin authority - 02
Export readiness
Phytosanitary routine and destination-market regulatory readiness — SFDA, MOCCAE, EU import controls, FDA, etc., where the supplier ships.
Phytosanitary protocolsDestination regulatory clearanceMRL test capability - 03
Quality certification
At least one active third-party certification — GlobalG.A.P., BRC Food, ISO 22000, HACCP, GRASP, SMETA — verified directly with the issuing body. Expiry dates tracked.
Certificate authenticityIssuer confirmationExpiry tracking - 04
Operational capacity
Mandatory site visit by Clyro staff or, in remote cases, a recorded video walkthrough. Cold storage, packhouse, packing lines, and stated annual export volume validated against observed capacity.
Packhouse visitCold storage validationVolume cross-check - 05
Trade references
Two named buyer references from different countries, with documented prior transactions. Clyro contacts both — by phone and email. The conversation is logged.
Two named referencesCross-border verificationDocumented prior trade - 06
Reputation check
No active legal disputes, no industry-known fraud history, no intermediary fronting another supplier. Industry forums, trade-council communications, and public records reviewed.

Documentation
Sample purchase order, sample commercial invoice, sample phytosanitary certificate, and evidence of MRL test capability — provided by the exporter and reviewed by Clyro before publishing.

Documents
What we ask for.
Mandatory documents must be uploaded and verified before a profile is published. Optional documents strengthen the file and surface to counterparties on request.

What verification means
Documented evidence at a point in time.
- ·The exporter exists as a legal entity in their country
- ·Their export documentation is current and authentic
- ·Their operations match their stated capacity
- ·Independent buyers confirm prior trade with them
- ·No public record of fraud or active legal dispute
What verification does not mean
Verification is not a guarantee.
- ·Clyro does not guarantee product quality on any individual shipment
- ·Clyro does not guarantee payment or shipment execution
- ·Exporters remain solely responsible for product claims
- ·Buyers should always conduct independent due diligence
- ·Listings can be suspended if material complaints arise
Maintenance
Verification is not a one-time event. Every listing on Clyro is re-audited annually. Certifications expire on the dates we record. Trade references are re-confirmed. Volume claims are re-validated. If any pillar lapses, the listing is moved to pending re-verification and removed from public view until reviewed.
Buyer complaints trigger an immediate review. Material complaints — paperwork fraud, container substitution, payment dispute — result in suspension while the matter is investigated. The audit log is preserved.
